School Nurse...

I am wishing for a happy, healthy year for all our children. All students need to receive adequate sleep, healthy meals and snacks and enough exercise. Please be sure your child/children EAT Breakfast. They can not work and learn on an "empty tank." Please pack appropriate snacks and lunches they will be able to eat.
 

Reminders...

• If your child is absent, please call my office at 732-828-1651 extension 6 and leave a message before 9 am.
• Send a note to your child's teacher the day he/she returns (3x5 index card if possible)
• No medication may be given in school WITHOUT a doctor's note AND written parental permission.
• When sending "goodies" to school, be mindful we have a number of students allergic to peanuts. Please avoid treats with nut and/or any peanut additives.
• All NJ students should have an annual dental exam and a "Well Child" physical at a minimum every 3 years. You may download forms for your child's doctor to complete. All completed forms should be sent to the nurse.

I will be sending notices to all students who have incomplete records.
