Language Arts/ Social Studies Project - Make a Family Tree (Pre-K 3)

Draw a tree large enough to put pictures on (11 x 17 construction paper attached)
Make sure the tree has branches and big leaves
Draw or use pictures of people in your family and glue them onto the leaves
Don't forget YOU
Label the top of the paper MY FAMILY
Please keep your paper vertically (top to bottom NOT side to side)

Be prepared to present (tell) the class about your family.

You may use anything you want to decorate and make your project colorfully!

Have a good time during this project. Have the whole family join in on the fun! I can't wait to see and hear all about your families.

Please take extra care in doing these; we will display them during Catholic Schools week. This project is due on Tuesday, January 24, 2012.

Science Project - Shoebox Aquarium (Pre-K 4)

1. Get a shoebox

2. Cut windows into the two short sides in the box and in the middle of the lid

3. Paint the inside and outside of both

4. Turn the shoebox on its side and tape on the lid

5. From paper cut out and color ocean creatures (things that are found in the ocean)

6. Use tape and thread to hang each ocean creature inside the aquarium

Be as colorful and creative as you wish. Have fun!
