Miss Rhein, our 3rd grade teacher, brought her pet frog to school as an introduction to her lesson on frogs. Frogger is an African frog who must stay in the water at all times. He eats "frog logs" every day. Miss Rhein had to wait until he was three years old to find out he was a male frog by the dark brown color inside of his front legs. He is between 25-26 years old. Most African frogs live to be about 12! He likes to hang in the water and just leaves his eyes above the water level. Whenever the weather is going to change, he makes a grumping sound. Students from other classes were so excited to learn that Frogger was visiting, they all wanted to stop by the 3rd grade and welcome him to OLOL!
