Our Lady of Lourdes' Deacon, Bob Gerling and his wife, Jo Ann, stopped by the school to talk with our 7th and 8th grade students on those things that are important during their teenage years and that will carry with them through the rest of their lives. Separating the ladies and the gentlemen, Deacon Gerling spoke to the boys and Mrs. Gerling spoke to the girls about respecting themselves and others, acceptance, keeping God first in their lives and the importance of the Sacrament of Reconciliation. They talked about the Golden Rule and caring for those that are needy and unloved.
